General Questions

WHAT IS SAYSME.TV?

SaysMe.TV is a platform for everyone from individuals, local businesses and brands/companies to get their messages out on television. Sign up for SaysMe.TV, choose your market, select an ad, select a network, and even personalize it with your name on it. With just a few simple clicks, one can put an ad on TV! Then it can be distributed or embedded anywhere on the Internet.

DO THE ADS REALLY AIR ON TV?

Yes! Customers select an ad, the market(s) where they would like it to run along with the networks, and we take it from there! Customers will receive a confirmation of purchase immediately. Then, at least 24 hours prior to air time, a confirmation of the time and date that it will run will be emailed out so they can record it or watch it live with friends. Ads purchased may take 5-7 business days to run on the air.

It is possible that local markets may have to push an ad to run at a later date than originally stated - SaysMe has no control over this and in the event this occurs we will make every effort to let the customer know the revised date prior to airing. Please be advised this is not common and under most situations the air date should remain intact.

WHAT CHANNELS ARE THEY ON?

CNN, FX, USA, TNT, Lifetime, A&E, ESPN & MORE! We typically carry most every popular cable channel/network per market. Upon checkout, customers simply select from the networks they would like to advertise on and we take it from there.

WHAT CITIES ARE YOU AVAILABLE IN?

We are in over 40 markets nationwide, including all of the top 10 such as New York, LA, Chicago, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Dallas, Boston, Washington DC, Atlanta and Houston. In fact, we have pretty much the top 25 fully covered and are always expanding. Don't see a city you would like to run ads in? WHAT CAN LOCAL BUSINESSES DO WITH SAYSME.TV?

We help local businesses run micro-campaigns in the neighborhoods for as little as $6/ad and $100/order all the way to letting them hyper-target multiple markets. So whether you're a independent shop keeper, regional or national chain we have something for you! WHAT CAN NATIONAL BRANDS DO WITH SAYSME.TV?

Brands have many different ways of working with SaysMe. Not only can we handle traditional media campaigns for you, but we can find you community groups to whom you can offer co-operative advertising to on a hyper-targeted, hyper-local level. Whether you want bands in 10 key cities or pet owners on a national basis, we can work with you to find the desired consumer base who will run local, Tivo-resistant campaigns on television with your brand wrapper on the ad. WHAT CAN VIDEOGRAPHERS DO WITH SAYSME.TV?

The short answer is, a lot! We now help independent videographers become their own full-service ad agencies. Not only can you offer production services to your clients, but now you can sell them television time in their local market! WHAT IS THE PROCESS WITH ORIGINAL CONTENT?

Simple.

  1. Visit our upload page at http://www.saysme.tv/static/submission.
  2. Enter in all information required, check off the terms and conditions and upload your ad.
  3. We will process your ad, get it approved by the cable carriers and notify you.
  4. Purchase from our simple application.

As a platform for the distribution of individual ideas, SaysMe.tv is agnostic. Like you, the people who work at SaysMe.tv have strong beliefs and like to debate them vigorously with each other. We are a diverse organization made up of individuals on both sides of the aisle, but as a company we strongly agree that a non-partisan stance facilitates the greatest flow of opinions and the largest number of voices to be heard. We have only one constraint - broadcast standards.

WHAT BROWSER SHOULD I BE USING?

Windows Users

Internet Explorer is the best viewing option for Windows users. The Firefox browser is a good browser, but has problems playing files back at times. You should download the latest version of the Internet Explorer browser here or via the link below:

AOL browsers also have problems playing back video files. If you are an AOL user we suggest that you use the Internet Explorer browser that comes with your computer. The stock Microsoft Internet Explorer browser seems to perform better than the customized IE that AOL has developed. To use the stock browser go to the start menu and select "Internet Explorer" from the program menu.

Mac/Apple Users

All Mac/Apple web browsers can play back the Flash videos on our files under most situation except with Firefox 3, which has been known to have issues. We recommend updating the browser to the latest version of Firefox or using Safari.
